Determinants of villagers’ satisfaction with post-disaster reconstruction: Evidence from surveys ten years after the Wenchuan earthquake

Residents’ satisfaction with post-disaster reconstruction in earthquake-stricken areas directly affects their quality of life, which cannot be ignored reconstruction. More than 10 years after the Wenchuan earthquake, we took ten randomly selected villages five hardest-hit by earthquake as research objects and obtained 483 valid completed questionnaires. The villagers were sampled descriptive statistical analysis, factor ordered logistic regression used to explore factors relationships influencing villagers’ areas. results show that: 1) more rural residents know about reconstruction, greater level satisfaction; 2) annual income families increases resettlement, reconstruction; 3) six public factors, namely village committee acts as, housing construction quality, service, policy benefiting farmers, cultural environment, hardware all significantly positively affect residents’ overall post-earthquake This study thus enriches theory studies practice
